A Brookline Story

My 'go-to' spring uniform always starts with a breezy dress and jean jacket. This is one of my favorite dresses (due to its seasonal versatility) but also its charming pattern. The cap sleeves and high neckline make the look feel preppy and polished. (Which I don't mind playing with every once in awhile). I am hoping the sunshine makes its way back to Boston. I am over this east coast gloom. I am day dreaming of warmer times in my neighborhood. Only a few more weeks left in my beautiful Brookline apartment, I need to appreciate the time I have.

Grease Lightning

Sometimes I get a kick out of pretending I am a rebel. Or a badass. And some days I don't need to pretend. My ripped Brandy Melville jeans scared me when I first purchased (I knew my mother would roll her eyes at the holes I paid for). These pants add a cool texture to any look. I love pairing with my timberlands and once it gets warmer a chic heeled sandal. As I near the closing of my college education, I have been looking for comfort and casual. Into the minimal as I run around Boston those last few months. We also snuck on my roof to do this shoot. So in some ways we were a little rebellious.
One can never go wrong with the classic pop culture staple- jeans and a white tee. I learned from the Jets, the Greasers, and the Guess models.
