California Camp

I am stoked to share my first look from my collaboration with Shop Future, a Los Angeles vintage studio. Curated by the lovely Lane Leavens, Shop Future is your one stop shop for the best vintage pieces. This brand creates an aesthetic that honors the past, while still feeling fresh and cool for the modern girl. This studio has a specific eye to source vintage that has the ability to transcend the era it originally was made. Shop Future draws inspiration from the past, but holds relevance to the girl in the present moment.
I am never afraid to wear double denim. A small dose of confidence takes this look from costume to everyday wear. I love these boyfriend Levis with this striped vintage bodysuit. It has the tomboy flare, while still showing off my female form. I have noticed vintage clothing tends to fit me better than new clothes made today. The cuts and shapes of other eras (specifically 70's) seem to work on my body better. Adding a bandana gives the look an Americana feel. I am ready for summer to begin and this outfit is the perfect transition between the seasons. I would identify this look as 'California-Camp'. Bright, worn-in but still crisp.
