70's Suede

The 70's trend has remained strong in fashion over the past few years. Designers continue to have an infatuation with the post-hippie era. Buying and selling vintage is incredibly popular in mainstream culture. When looking a new clothing inspired by 70's styles, the pieces now have materialized into a more modern clean version. Styles focus on rich neutral separates, and detailed fabrics.

This outfit I styled is all about the suede. I fell in love with these brown lace up shorts the moment I put them on. I was transported to a different time, and enjoyed showing my legs. The lace up detail on the side, gave a peek-a-boo of skin. All of the pieces were vintage, but  with the help of Shop Future, we were able to adapt to this outfit to the present. This fringe suede jacket, made me feel like a band babe. This summer outfit, is perfect for any festival. Boho style is always a fan favorite at such events (Bonnaroo this weekend wish I was there). I feel very comfortable in this eras clothing. Maybe it has to do with my hair- I am often told the volume is very Farrah Fawcett. I had such a blast collating with this team, and want to start buying more vintage. It helps the environment and aids in creating an effortless uniqueness to my wardrobe.
