My Styles Staples for Fall '19

Farewell to September! My way of celebrating the start of the new season? Sharing some style staples for this fall. There are quite a few trends that I have been eyeing, and Paris Fashion Week has definitely been a strong influence. So, here is a little preview of what you can expect from my fashion choices the next few months.
MONOCHROMATIC MOMENT: Of course, there's nothing easier than a monochromatic look. I tested this trend with my head to toe look from new it-brand, Billie the Label. I love the ease of putting to matchy matchy separates together. It looks well thought out, but most of the time these kind of outfits can be majorly last minute. Try bold colors for fall, such as pink, scarlet, emerald or navy blue.
MENSWEAR INSPIRED: Oversized blazers, pleated trousers, stiff button downs... the list goes on. Including menswear isn't something new for me, but I want to invest in some new staples for the season. My favorite blazers are from Closed, Frankie Shop , And Other Stories. There's a way to style menswear that feels majorly retro. I love referencing the cool girls of the late 70's. Think power suits and strong wide leg flares.
ALL SHADES OF BEIGE: This trend forecast comes straight from street style trends, and major publications. Carmel, camel, oat, sand. Different versions of beige feel refined, relaxed and chic. Monochromatic works for this trend as well. Head to toe beige isn't boring, it feels modern without try too hard.
EVERYTHING SATIN: Los Angeles, doesn't have a true season change. (Our temperatures went from 90 degrees to 70, which is practically still summer.) One fabric that feels very much like fall, without weighing you down? Satin. It's not too hot to worry about sweat lines, but can be easily be paired with classic pieces for autumn. I love a satin skirt with a thick turtleneck. Pair with either a square toe heel or the unexpected knee high boot. Satin maxi dresses and breezy tops work as well. Just throw on a blazer to edge up the look and make it feel more appropriate for the season.

Billie the Label Copeland Skirt + Marilyn Sweater, Vintage Prada Mini Tessuto (similar to here), Chloe Rosie Sunglasses and Huma Blanco Block Heels.
