Only an hour drive from the San Francisco Bay, a road trip to wine country is always a good idea. The one lane highway leads through scenes of golden hills, sweeping blue skies, and perfectly lined vineyards. A few weeks ago, I took a trip up to Sonoma, and stayed at the Kenwood Inn. A Mediterranean inspired holiday, that felt like a vintage postcard. There is such a romance to this space; lush greenery, cool tile floors, rustic oil paintings, sun sparkling pools. Each detail felt so beautiful, so thought out. A little slice of Tuscany without getting on a plane. 
The Kenwood Inn staff went above and beyond to make us feel at home. After months of quarantine due to COVID, I felt so safe in this picturesque place. We could swept up in the moments; waking up to the sun rise over vines, eating breakfast on our private patio, lounging in poolside sipping local rosé. All these moments created such a special feeling, which meant even more during these challenging times.
Also, to my surprise, my boyfriend Sam of eight years, took the opportunity to propose to me- We're engaged! I was so caught off guard, and did not expect it to happen. I could not have imagined a more perfect backdrop to celebrate than The Kenwood Inn. I cannot wait to create more memories here in the future, and bring our families here one day.
